FOOD STUFF .... FISH COOKED WITH SUGAR,VINEGAR & GINGER 3/31/14



For today I will cook a fish dish for lunch. I only got a few ingredients on hand.

Fish
onion
garlic &
ginger

So, I favored to just cook Escabeche . It's a sweet and sour dish and a favorite of the family.

Usually it is cooked by sauteing with garlic ,onions and ginger. Adding Vinegar & Sugar , cooking together with fried Fish. adding salt to taste.

For me it's quick to cook and just depends on how I blend flavors to taste. If I wish, I can add more to it with bell peppers,  to add a bit of color and flavor.
  I think my group will enjoy eating this...
