FOOD STUFF 072615 Chicken with Pineapple in Coconut Milk

Who doesn't love to eat Chicken? Well only a few I guess, specially if it's fried and crispy. But some days you want variety in taste.  Not being a professional cook, but only an @Home cook, I browsed through the net and settled for a video to follow... to cook the Chicken dish I chose :

Chicken cooked in Coconut Milk with Pineapples. A very tasty dish I think I will enjoy.

For starters, I prepared the chicken by marinading it to the Pineapple juice ( that goes with the canned Pineapple chunks ) for two hours or while I am busy cutting the Vegetable ingredients. When all done , It's cooking time for me.

Fairly easy for me because I just saute the Chicken with onions ,garlic & tomatoes , put in some ground pepper . Then Include the Marinade juice to cook the chicken while boiling.

When the chicken is cooked  I then added the coconut milk & the pineapples . After a short time added the carrots until cooked ,then followed by the green and red bell peppers , salt to taste.  Viola! Something Yummy & Special for Lunch . I enjoyed doing this, as well as eating it too...

FOOD STUFF ... 072615 Cooking Bitter Gourd

Looking over my sister's shoulder,
I looked at what she is cooking...

It's AMPALAYA  (Bitter Gourd ) !
Healthy eating this Lunch.

Easy to cook : Just saute it with onions, garlic, tomatoes and cut pork then you have one tasty dish .

Some wants lesser bitterness in their dish so before cooking this "ampalaya" I rub it in salt placed on container with water & let it sit for a while before cooking. Well, that's how I do it. Cooking is enjoyable for me specially since I love eating  :)  & I also get to know more about healthy foods. That's a plus !
